Occupational Health & Safety Manager ISG Asia (Singapore) Pte Ltd

With a staff strength of over 440 full-time industry professionals based in 11 offices, ISG Asia partners with and works for its clients by providing a range of services that include project management, construction, and facilities management which are performed independently or integrated as a complete occupancy life cycle solution. The company is wholly owned by Interior Services Group plc.

Due to the continuing growth of the organisation, we seek a qualified individual to fill the following vacancy:

Occupational Health & Safety Manager

Job Duties:

To review the company Occupational Health and Safety Policy, its applicability to local statute and implementation within the live business environment.
To promote a safety first culture within the organisation and all project works that are undertaken
To ensure that all health and safety statutory requirements are complied with in relation to lodgement of applications and notification of project works.
To develop a Management Information System that facilitates a proactive and analytical approach to method statements, risk assessments and safety evaluations.
Review present integrated management documentation and develop for OHSAS 18001.
To conduct regular site visits to project sites to ensure that the highest standards are being applied to health and safety. To enforce corrective action wherever applicable.
To implement post project health, safety and environmental reviews to ensure continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

Possess a degree in Occupational Health and Safety and/or related discipline
Possess minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in Construction/Interior Fit-Out works
Proficient in Microsoft Office
A team player who is organised, committed and able to work under pressure
Able to commence work immediately or within short notice

Additional Information:

Office Location: 1A Lorong Telok (near Raffles Place/Clark Quay MRT station)
Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm (Monday to Friday)
: 8.30am to 12.30pm (Saturday)
