Mobile Technicians

Responsibilities:

Undertake planned and reactive maintenance and attend to reactive calls on an emergency call-out rota system
Planned and reactive maintenance to electrical equipment, signware, building external
Undertake the co-ordination of work carried out in buildings by specialist contractors
Regular customer liaison and rapport
To have an understanding and appreciation of our customer’s business to ensure you are able to talk competently about their service and products
Provide support and assistance to peers, especially in the area of technical support
Plan and carry out work in a safe, cost effective manner in line with our customer’s business procedures
To be aware and observe any opportunity to reduce costs and improve standards and ensure those ideas are shared with your team
To submit ideas on a regular basis
Produce reports on any problems or issues supported by recommendations for improvement or rectifying
Ensure that you keep up to date with and have awareness of new products and new/improved working methods that can add value by improving quality and reducing costs
Assisting with general office administration duties when required

Requirements:

Qualified Electrical Technician with at least 2 years experience in a maintenance environment
Mobile service experience, preferably supporting a retail / petroleum operation
Be capable of working individually and as part of a team
Have good knowledge of retail equipment such as fridges, chillers, boilers, heating and ventilation equipment
Have good knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, power, water systems
Simple computer skills and able to understand and write English
