The Tri-Star Industries Group started business in the late 1970’s, trading and manufacturing bolts and nuts. The Group has since grown to manufacture fluoropolymer coated bolts and nuts, cable support and management system and cathodic protection products & services for the Oil, Gas, Power, Petrochemical and Marine Industries in Asia and other parts of the world.

The Group has five manufacturing sites and nine sales offices in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. It has sole agencies and distributors in the rest of Asia & Middle East including Grephil International Ltd which were servicing to the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Power and Marine Industries in the categories of Consultancy, Engineering and Procurement Services.

The Group practises high quality standards and has been the first in it’s industry to be certified to ISO 9002 with structured organisations in all its companies.

Metallurgy Manager

Job Description

• He should be conversant with different heat treatment *processes for steel.
• Experience in Induction hardening is preferred.
• He should have experience in metallurgical Laboratory.
• ISO/TS 16949 – Quality System knowledge will be an added advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Must have at least a degree in Metallurgist, preferably a PhD.
• At least 5 years in a steel mill/ heat treatment facility.
• Self Motivated.
• PhD or Master degree in Metallurgy is preferred.
• This position will be stationed in Johor, Malaysia.
