Merchandiser/ Assistant Merchandiser Ghim Li Global Pte Ltd

Ghim Li is one of the world’s established Textile and Apparel supply chain manager. A global supplier of casual knitwear apparel to major US retailers, Global sales have grown every year to approximately US$220 million in 2007.

Merchandiser/ Assistant Merchandiser

Job Descriptions:

To handle specific sales accounts as allocated
Comparing notes and details with agent / buyer upon order confirmation
Preparing purchase orders
Working with the Procurement Department to reserve fabric, secure fabric prices and obtain colour dips / prints for approval
Requesting for the appropriate samples
Placing order for fabric and accessories
Ensure testing is conducted as requested by buyers
Issuing Manufacturing Instructions (MI)
Checking production status and up to date work-in-progress report and flow charts
Replying any buyers’ / agents’ enquiries promptly

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a GCE”O” Level
Knowledge in Marketing will be an advantage
Applicants should be Malaysian, Singaporean citizens or hold PR status
Independent, hardworking and able to handle stress
Relevant experience in the apparel industry would be an advantages

Others:

Applicants must be willing to work in Changi South
5 day work week
Company transport provided at various pick-up points (AMK, Hougang, Tampines, Eunos, Kembangan, Bedok & Tanah Merah)

Remuneration will commensurate with experience and qualifications
