Media Sales Executive / Manager

Role Statement

Media Sales Executive – is responsible for selling print and online advertisements to new and existing clients for lifestyle/trade magazines and directories.

Primary Aim

• Proactively contact new and existing clients to propose and sell them print and online advertising through telephone sales, or face-to-face meetings.
• Provide world-class customer service in responding to general and specialized client requests via both phone and email, including campaign activity inquiries and advertising relevancy issues.
• Responsible for special projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, propose and sell print and online display advertisements to targeted organizations within the target markets set out by the company.
• Responsible for the media planning process. Manage and allocate media costs and budget to achieve key planning objectives.
• Work closely with client servicing team to ensure timely delivery of pre and post sales matters.
• Understand all new products and their roles.

Experience & Skills Required

• Passionate about the Advertising/Marketing industry.
• Internet media or media sales experience from traditional medias (TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor) preferred but not a must.
• Creative, problem solver with ability and experience understanding needs of customers and delivering innovative solutions
• Comprehension of the media/Internet industry
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid commitment to sales and customer service with good interpersonal skills, initiative and follow-through.
• Outstanding computer skills including solid knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word).
• Able to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
