Miclyn Express Offshore is a leading offshore marine support services provider. Due to expansion, we have immediate openings for the following positions at BATAM. Candidates MUST be prepared to be based at Batam, returning home only on weekends. Those with 2 years or more of shipbuilding experience may apply.

Mechanical Supervisor (BATAM)

Requirements:

To oversee all mechanical work on Newbuild as well as Repair.
To ensure equipments installation are done correctly onboard and protected from damages.
To prepare inspection as and when required on all machineries.
To do commissioning on all equipments (new & old) for test run.
All testing / commissioning of new equipments to Class Surveyor and sign off.
Arrange for vendors to do testing and ensure proper handover to C/E.
Do inspection and checking of Mechanical work on Newbuild vessels.
Daily inspection of Mechanical Alignment work, Engines, Rudders, etc.
Do proper records filing of all inspection carried out by Class.
Record all readings taken and Class numbers, equipments numbers tally with Certificates.
