MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

Development of mechanical maintenance programs like vibration, corrosion grids and assume ownership for the site PM process.
Ensure compliance in safety, environmental, quality and cost controls as established by the Company.
Assist with shutdown plan development and implementation, including regulatory inspections.
Serve as a subject matter expert to provide troubleshooting support on mechanical related problems, equipment performance evaluations and mechanical data analysis.
Provide stewardship on mechanical discipline on site capital projects.
Help establish and continually improve site vendor relations and third party services to optimize coverage and reduce overall cost.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5 years’ relevant experience in chemical or related industries
Familiarity in Singapore standards SS & CPs, International standards ASME, API & NFPA is preferred.
Analytical, self-motivated and able to multi task
A good leader and team player

Company transport will be provided from Jurong East MRT station
