Formed in 2003, the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) plays a vital role in transforming Singapore into a Global Media City and positioning it at the forefront of the digital media age. MDA spearheads initiatives that promote developments in film, video, television, radio, publishing, music, games, animation, media services and Interactive Digital Media. At the same time, in ensuring clear and consistent regulatory policies and guidelines, MDA helps to foster a pro-business environment for industry players and increase media choices for consumers. Manager (Media Infrastructure)

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for formulating and implementing plans and programs to develop Media Infrastructure for the media industry in Singapore. You will provide support in identifying strategic directions for the development, programming and growth of such infrastructure projects (e.g. Mediapolis@one-north). You will be required to operationalise such media infrastructure strategies, and coordinate initiatives of the various statutory boards and agencies involved in the master-planning, positioning and marketing of these infrastructure developments to local and international media players. You will also be constantly engaging companies in the media sector to understand their infrastructural needs, and to develop and implement concrete plans with investors and developers on desired operating models.

Pre-requisites
You would have a degree with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in strategic planning. You should have a keen awareness and interest in the latest media developments and trends. You should also be dynamic, resourceful and possess initiative, capable of working in a deadline-oriented environment.
