Learning & Development Manager Watson’s Personal Care Stores Pte Ltd

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will be responsible for managing Company-wide learning & development programs and initiatives, including field training and execution of activities to enhance the knowledge and service standards throughout the Company’s operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with department managers in identifying employees’ training needs and put together training roadmaps;
  • Design, develop and facilitate in-house training programs;
  • Conduct regular reviews to align training to business objectives and measure training effectiveness;
  • Develop and enhance customer service and service recovery standards, and service improvement action plan;
  • Conduct regular audits on training programs and service delivery at all stores to ensure consistent adherence to policies and standards;
  • Design and implement regular service updates/case studies to all staff for participation;
  • In-charge of Management Trainee Program, Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Total Company Training Plan (TCTP);
  • Support OD processes such as Change Management, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Talent Management, etc.;
  • Maintain systematic documentation of training records, ensuring that it meets mandatory requirements;
  • Prepare and monitor periodic evaluation reports of training programs;
  • Lead/participate in ad-hoc projects when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree, those with a Diploma in HRD are preferred;
  • Preferably ACTA certified (Advanced Certificate in Training & Development);
  • Minimum 6 years of HRD experience, proficient in field training and in SDF and SRP administration;
  • Proven experience in designing, delivering and auditing training programs and service delivery;
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels is necessary;
  • Able to be hands-on and work independently under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • Analytical, highly organized with high level of drive, team spirit and a service mindset;
  • Exceptional communication (spoken and written), interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Bilingual in English and a second language, and proficient in MS Office skills;
  • Candidates with prior related experience in FMCG, fast food or challenging retail environment are preferred.
