As we continue to expand, we are recruiting for the following appointment:

Java Developer

The Job:

Be part of a dynamic team to build the next generation Enterprise-class Virtual Community Management platform.
Participate in the design, development, maintenance and support of the Community platform that provides centralized management of virtual community across traditional Web-based and 3D Virtual World applications.
Indulge in the latest cutting-edge technology with market-leading products from IBM and other Open Source projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discpline from a reputable university.
3-5 years of software development with industry experience in J2EE and Web-related technologies.
Strong knowledge of Web Service concepts and related technologies, and experienced in service design and implementation.
Hands-on experience in IBM line of products such as Websphere Application Server and DB2 will be an advantage.
Understanding of Virtual World application is a plus but not compulsory.
Must be conversant with both English and Chinese and able to communicate with China counterpart effectively.
Self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision both independently and as a team.
Always curious and passionate about technology and quick to pick up new skills.
Be dynamic and quick to respond to business needs with agility.
