IT & Operation Officer/Manager

Job Description

Handle and maintain all IT issues for Phoenix Contact (SEA) Pte Ltd.
Submission of monthly EDP report to Germany.
Prepare all yearly IT and EDP related plans for SE Asia to Germany.
Keeping records of all hardware, software and make recommendations to purchase in time of upgrades or shortages for the whole of SE Asia.
Recommend process improvement and development of an efficient and secure IT system.
Liaise with vendors pertaining to the issues on software and date transfer.
Administers, troubleshoot and resolves Network issues on the server and on personal computers and notebooks
Troubleshoots and resolves Network issues
Setup, install and maintains all office networked computers, personal computers and notebooks.
Handle all operational issue within the region.

Requirements

Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
At least 3 – 6 years of IT & Network support experience
Must have prior experience in Windows and PC / server systems
Should have good knowledge & experience of Office Networking, VPN, Firewalls and network systems
Should have hands-on experience in installation, setup, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software
Strong knowledge of Internet Applications will be an advantage e.g. SEO (search engine optimization), SEM (Search Engine Marketing) etc…
Experience with the SAP/BAAN, MRP software, CRM software & Lotus Notes or equivalent (e.g. MS Exchange) will be a big advantage
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
Strong customer-service orientation, works well in fast-paced workplace, “Hands-on” attitude.
Willing to travel at short notice
