Our client is a major global banking group. It is currently seeking two IT Auditors to further strengthen the Asia audit team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Support the Audit Manager in scoping the audit where necessary.
Identify, assess & document risks and controls within these processes.
Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls & document this understanding in the audit toolkit.
Write high quality audit observations and support the Audit Manager in writing the report.
Discuss and agree the factual accuracy of audit observations with auditees, Audit Manager and HoA.
Update the Audit Manager and audit team with progress and observations.
Continue to update awareness of risk issues and changes across selected business units.
Assist in the induction of new joiners, mentoring more junior team members.

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following:

Understand the control, regulatory and risk issues relating to information technology.
Good understanding of technology and its business application including knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
Specialist knowledge of either Infrastructure and IT processes or auditing business process within a Financial Services organisation.
Display familiarity and knowledge of the risks associated with one or more of the following IT processes: application development, change and release management, incident and problem management, software asset management, IT Risk management, security management, data management.
Display familiarity and knowledge of the risks associated with one or more of the following technologies: Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, CICS), Windows, VMS, AS/400, Unix, HP-Non Stop (Tandem), Mainframe and RACF, Networks and firewalls, External threat assessment and management, Internet infrastructure, Cryptography.
Displays familiarity and knowledge of auditing one or more of the following business processes: Finance ( SAP), Human Resources ( SAP HR), Risk Management (Credit / Market / Operational Risk Systems), Treasury (Trading, Middle Office, Back Office or Settlement Systems), Payments (SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS others), Retail Banking (Mortgage / Current Account / Savings), Recoverability of Services.
Experience in risk based auditing or risk/control or IT security activities
Educated to degree level
Ideally CISA or CISSP certified
