Zagro, a Singapore main board public-listed company, leading manufacturer and distributor of Animal Health and Crop Care products, seeks an energetic driven, highly competent and dedicated candidate to join its team

IT Administrator (Base: Singapore)

Job responsibilities:

(a) Maintenance

• Basic hardware support and maintenance for office PC’s and peripherals
• Maintaining primary email, accounting, database, DNS, web and file servers
• Maintaining secondary systems, network devices and Internet access in use by the Company and its subsidiaries
• Maintaining Network Security and Prevention of Network Abuse
• Maintaining updated documentation of the IT network of Company and its subsidiaries

(b) Support

• Provide user support for desktop systems & applications

(c) Others

• Perform user and network administration duties for local and oversea offices
• Liaising with vendors for acquisition and maintenance of systems and equipments
• Perform IT inventory management, update and control
• Other IT projects as and when required

Job requirements:

• Diploma in IT or equivalent
• At least 2 years relevant working experience in systems and network support
• Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (i.e:-Win2K, WinXP, MS Office products) and networking technologies (i.e:-DNS, TCP/IP, firewall, Linux, NAS, Oracle, MySql) and development skills in Java environment
• Experience in maintaining Windows NT Domain and Windows 2003 Active Directory
• Knowledge in email infrastructure (eg:- message routing, antispam etc)
• Basic knowledge in Cisco PIX firewall
• Some knowledge of PC hardware repair and maintenance
• Able to communicate well with users at all levels
