Reporting to : International Finance Director

Nos. of staff under supervision : None

Title : Financial Accountant (Thailand)

Salary : Negotiable

Other remuneration : None other than what is normal locally

Location of work : Bangkok

Working day/working hours : Normal working hours

Responsibilities :

Preparation of the Thailand company accounting records ensuring monthly, quarterly and year end financial reports are prepared timely and accounting treatments are in line with local statutory regulations and US GAAP.
Preparation of the company’s vat and withholding tax returns
Recording of all expenditure and income within the company’s oracle accounting system.
Understanding of revenue recognition in compliance with SOP 97-2 and SOP 81-1
Utilization of the company’s internet banking system.
Ensuring the company controls comply with sox 404 regulations.
Monitor the company’s implementation projects with the project managers
Review of the Thailand monthly results with variance analysis detail
Assist in budget and Financial projections

Qualifications :

Degree/Master Degree in Finance
Fluent in English – both oral and written
Qualified to produce Thai accounts/statements for revenue department and for audit review
Expert in excel is a must
Familiar with Oracle Financial package
Familiar with reviewing and managing contracts and costs associated to project contracts
