Import Shipping Co-ordinator

Job Scope:

• Monitor import consignments into Singapore
• Liaise with consignee on import shipment arrangement
• Fax arrival notice to consignee and arrange delivery
• Prepare delivery order
• Receive bill of lading and ensure collection of freight payment
• Submission of permits to shipping lines
• Declaration of permits by tradenet (main duty)
• Data entry

Requirements:

• Min 1 yr in shipping/freight forwarding
• At least GEC “O” level and above
• Meticulous with an eye for details
• Possess a pleasant disposition
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in PC applications (MS word, excel)
• Able to start work in short notice
