Hygiene and Safety Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement all Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group international Standards, Policies and Procedures related to Fire, Life, Health, Safety and Security.
  • Ensure that all FLHS&S standards are maintained and carried out in all departments and monitor them regularly to assist in scoring 100% on the yearly Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Audit.
  • Carry out regular inspection of all work areas that might cause bodily injury to any person working in the premises.
  • Assist the Risk Management and Occupational Health and Safety Committee in organizing and implementing occupational health and safety programs at work place.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and occupational disease, which has occurred at work place.
  • Ensure that information security policy is implemented and information and information security equipment assets are secured as effectively as possible to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information assets at all times.
  • Implement and lead the Hotels Green Committee to cope with the requirements of Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • Conduct Training for all colleagues about HACCP and FLHS&S Standards and ensure that they are followed at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public health & safety.
  • At least 4 years of working experience in a similar position in luxury hotel industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must possess Fire, Life, Health and Safety certificates.
  • Must possess a warm and pleasant personality and is able to work well in a team environment.
  • Must be able to read and interpret diagrams and drawings.
  • Must possess a good knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft DOS, Office, Windows, Outlook, Access etc.
  • Very Good written and verbal skills in English and Indonesian.
