Human Resource Executive
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will work in a fast-paced and team environment to deliver a full spectrum of HR services to meet business demands, and to manage daily HR operational matters.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of recruitment, on-boarding process and orientation for office level staff
- Assist in recruitment matters for store level staff
- Provide advice, assistance and counsel on local manpower regulations to ensure statutory compliance
- Manage staff counseling/issues, grievance handling, termination and dismissal cases
- Analysis work on compensation & benefits and drafting of HR policies and procedures
- Compensation & benefits administration such as insurance renewal and claims, employee relations and welfare
- Assist in annual HR annual budget, performance appraisal, appraisal audit, annual increment and bonus exercises
- Convene and facilitate employee communication sessions
- Participate in periodic surveys, e.g. MOM, SNEF
- Prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports, and workmen compensation
- Maintain HR Information and Leave Systems to ensure data integrity
- Lead/participate in ad-hoc projects
- Supervise and provide guidance to the Receptionist
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resource/Business Administration
- In-dept knowledge of employment laws and government benefit grants regulations
- Minimum 4 years of HR experience, of which, 2 years in a similar capacity
- Exceptional analytical, interviewing, communication (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of English, number acumen and proficient in MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Highly organized with a high level of drive and integrity, and willing to be hands-on
- Take initiatives, possess a strong sense of urgency and able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Work independently with minimum supervision and a dedicated team player
