HSE Coordinator, Associate

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for field level implementation of health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines
Oversees the risk identification and management, incident reporting and investigation, waste minimization, pollution prevention and control, various compliance activities and implementation of various aspect of management system in all area of HSE.
Conducts inspections and assessments, record-keeping and other general administrative duties.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in any disciplinary but must have at least 2 years experience in similar capacity in a oil and gas industry or manufacturing industry.
Must have good track record and in depth knowledge in leadership role to apply and execute HSE management systems in compliance to local statutory health, safety and environmental regulatory requirements
Must have strong communications (oral and written) and good organizational and leadership quality so as to make presentations and participate in conferences and industry associations.
Initiates improvement to current HSE system when necessary in compliance to local statutory and corporate requirements.
A certified safety officer registered with Ministry of Manpower.(preferred)
