HEAD OF GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY

Part of the ICT Executive Team, this is the highest technical leadership role with the overall responsibility and accountability for the design, development, release and maintenance of technology systems and services for the whole of the IB worldwide. This role leads the technical and development strategy and operations function and is responsible for the overall management of infrastructure and development team in global locations. The successful candidate will drive the technology, assessing and presenting architectural recommendations that are in line with the strategic vision for the IB.

The ideal candidate should have a deep, broad technical background in both infrastructure and application development, including knowledge and experience of agile development methodologies. He/She would have:

A bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
A proven track record in the management of multiple, cross-functional teams and projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders while meeting time and cost goals
In-depth understanding of processes and tools that enable rapid development and deployment while maintaining high levels of quality and minimizing risk
Demonstrated understanding of technology directions, trends and applying appropriate technology to bring strategic business impacts
