We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the following position:

Head of Global Sourcing Promotional Items

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES :-

Provide low cost sourcing solutions for promotional premiums to local Purchasing and / or Marketing functions in all Novartis BU’s worldwide and ensure a uniform and standard sourcing approach is maintained and strategically developed.
Manage day to day operations of the department
Develop and deliver solutions and strategies that significantly improve cost efficiency and effectiveness in the Promotional Items category
Drive ongoing implementation of the Promotional Items Sourcing strategies.
Ensure strategy is in place in Novartis to manage promotional premiums spend.
Provide a high level of service to the Marketing and Sales functions that will support the competitiveness and growth of the relevant businesses.
Ensure a high level of innovation and competitive cost options to all stakeholders.
Ensure compliance to Novartis purchasing guidelines.

YOUR PROFILE :

University Degree preferably in Finance/Economics or Sales/Marketing.
Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in a MNC, in which 5 years should be in leading a team.
Must have high level of experience in Marketing Sourcing, those with direct experience in Marketing will be advantageous.
Demonstrate knowledge and hands on experience of strategic sourcing and project management processes.
Possess excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with matrix reporting structure
Has familiarity in sourcing in low costs geographies.
