Group Accountant Aqua-Terra Supply Co. Ltd

Aqua-Terra Supply Co Ltd (“ATS”) is a SGX Mainboard-listed company with principal activities as procurement specialists in the oil & gas and marine industries. It is a subsidiary of KS Energy Services Ltd, an established group of companies serving the oil & gas sector. ATS achieved a group turnover of S$272 million for the financial year ended 31 Dec 2008. It has more than 10 subsidiaries and JV operating in ASEAN, China and the Middle East. In line with our expansion plans, we are now looking for a dynamic finance executive to join us in corporate reporting.

Group Accountant
Reporting to: Asst Financial Controller

A) Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Group Accountant’s main duties and responsibilities are as follows :-

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of the consolidated management accounts
Review and analyse monthly accounts of group companies
Communicate regularly with the reporting accountants of all group companies
Coordinate with auditors on the various reporting requirements
Assist in the Asst Financial Controller in managing of the Finance Dept
Ad-hoc assignments

B) Skills and Experience Required

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications, experience and qualities:-

Accountancy graduate or ACCA holder and a member of ICPAS
At least 5 years of post-graduate working experience, of which, two years are in the preparation of consolidated accounts
Good understanding of FRS and accounting principles
Meticulous, proactive, self-motivated and well-disciplined
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work under tight reporting timeline
Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point. Working knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains would be an advantage.
