GE SeaCo, one of the world’s largest ISO container leasing operators, has vacancy in its Singapore Asia Pacific Regional Office for:

FP&A Manager

Summary of Job:

Support the CFO and CEO to analyze business profitability in the normal GESEACO FP&A reporting cycle. The analyst will gain exposure to the entire PL and will lead monthly closes and variance analysis.

Reports to: CFO

Location: Singapore

Key Tasks and Activities:
Overview

Monthly & Quarterly Closing – analyzing the entire PL and BS as compared to prior year and planning sessions.
Planning Sessions – preparation of budget for all planning session including all operating data.
Fleet Analytics – update and analyze trends in our fleets including units turned in, units made available for sale, per diems, capex, vintage, owner comparatives and utilization.
Presentations – GE SeaCo board pitch and monthly CEO management package.
Ad- Hoc – various additional projects will come up depending on needs of the business.

The analyst will work in a small team so exposure to the CFO is on a daily basis.

Qualifications Required (if any): 3-5 years previous FP&A experience; exposure to the leasing market (preferably containers); Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and Access skills; Bachelors Degree in Finance or Commerce Preferred

Key Skills/Knowledge Required:

Previous knowledge of FP&A, specifically relating to container leasing
Familiarity with planning sessions and quarterly closing as well as basic accounting knowledge.
Extensive knowledge of container leasing strategy and initiatives
Advanced financial analytical skills including PL, BS, Cash Flow
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with colleagues globally
Advanced computer literacy (MS Office tools) PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills need to be highly developed
Analytical thinking ability
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in a multi-global team
Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to think out of box and take a proactive approach to the position.
