Financial Services Technical Consultants

For their operations in Singapore, NYSE Euronext Advanced Trading Solutions is seeking technical consultants for its professional services group. Qualified candidates must have experience with Java and commonly adopted financial protocols (e.g., FIX).

They should also have industry expertise in the securities business working with electronic trading solutions. Candidates must have strong customer relationship skills and experience delivering business solutions through technology. Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.

Candidates should have some leadership experience in the implementation of financial technology applications at a team leader, project leader or technical project leader level.

Primary Responsibilities

Working with customers to understand and document technical and business requirements
Developing implementation plans based on customer requirements
Installing and implementing software according to customer specifications
Integrating software with customer applications, including Java development
Deploying customer solutions based on technical and business requirements
Working closely with other departments (i.e., Engineering, Customer Support) to ensure a tight implementation of the solution, a smooth transition to production, provide product feedback and to assist in solution proposals

Required Qualifications

Ability to understand customer’s requirements and to implement technology solutions according to those requirements
Programming experience, preferably in Java
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analysis and design skills
Strong English language skills
