Financial Services Support Engineers

For their operations in Singapore, NYSE Euronext Advanced Trading Solutions is seeking motivated and experienced Financial Services Support Engineers for its Singapore office, as part of expanding the Support team for Asia Pacific region. Qualified candidates must have experience providing technical support for an application product. They should also have industry expertise in the financial trading markets working with electronic trading solutions. Candidates must have strong customer relationship skills. Strong oral and written communication skills are also necessary. The Support team is the primary contact for all application problems experienced by production clients in the Asia Pacific region and may be expected to assist clients to resolve infrastructure-related issues.Ideal candidates will have FIX protocol experience and some programming or system administration skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical support experience, especially for electronic trading services and applications
  • Strong technical problem solving skills, troubleshooting of systems and networks.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in electronic trading, exchanges, market connectivity and trading business flows
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Strong English language skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • JAVA programming experience
  • Linux or UNIX experience, especially system admin and scripting
  • Software QA and testing skills
  • FIX protocol experience
