Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

Support the Controller in the provision of timely and relevant management and financial performance reports and forecasts to the Management
Provide reliable and sensible analysis of P&L and other key financial ratios on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, and identify and communicate deviations from plans and forecasts with recommendations for potential solution and improvements
Coordinate and assist Management in the preparation and coordination of realistic short term and long-term financial plans
Help to drive and track business productivity initiatives to achieve financial plans
Work closely with the business units to understand the business models, provide business analysis, highlight business performance variances and recommend value added changes
Setup and enforce proper internal control policies and procedures
Present/lead discussions/presentation to senior management
Handle special projects as and when assigned
Plan and co-ordinate Budget and monthly Forecasts
Liaison with auditors (external and internal), corporate secretary, bankers, Monetary Authority of Singapore

Requirements

Good degree in Business, Finance or Accounting with at least 3 years post qualification relevant experience, including audit.
Experience in the insurance industry will be ideal
Able to critically analyze different business segment performance, particularly with regard to financial statement and cash flow analysis
Liaison with auditors (external and internal), corporate secretary, bankers, Monetary Authority of Singapore
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Keen business acumen, ability to multi-task and strong problem-solving skills
High proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Highly pro-active attitude, self-motivated and performance oriented
Ability to work at a detailed level, but present issues and solutions at a summary level
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and deliver results within tight deadlines
Strong leadership & managerial skills
