Finance Manager Lai Games International Pte Ltd

LAI Games, a major Developer/Manufacturer of Coin-op Amusement games with its Sales and Marketing HQ in Singapore has a created a vacancy, through an internal promotion, for a qualified Finance Manager.

Our Games are sold through a international distribution network in 26 countries, they can be found in Family Entertainment Centers like Timezone (our company owned stores) and in locations like Bowling Centers, Retail outlets, Family Restaurants, Cinemas, Shopping malls etc.

Finance Manager

The position will oversee the timely and accurate financial reporting of the manufacturing, sales, and R&D division in the group with country finance managers in Indonesia and USA reporting to the appointment. The role reports into the CEO for the Games division, with a functional report into the CFO of the LAI Group. The general responsibilities cover:-

review financial reports for the subsidiaries within the division
prepare and ensure timely submission of consolidated financial reports for the division
analyze and report on the financial performance for the division
oversee the full spectrum of the financial and accounting operations in Singapore
ensure compliance to corporate policies for all the subsidiaries in the group
resolve financial or tax issues within the division
render strategic advise to CEO in financial planning, forecasting and budgeting
serve as financial advisory to CEO on ad-hoc projects.
perform research, investigation or internal auditing as and when required.
liaise with authorities, tax agents, bankers, auditors and etc

The ideal candidate should have more than ten years in financial management, preferably from manufacturing industry with multinational operations in Asia. Other general requirements are as follows:

a Degree in Accountancy
a CPA
at least 5 years’ past and current working experience with manufacturing company
hands-on experience in handling group consolidation
high level of integrity, strong interpersonal skill and resourcefulness
hands-on experience in implementing SAP Business One will be an advantage
