Finance & Administration Manager

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, Asia and the Vice President and Managing Director, the candidate is responsible for the financial operation of the Singapore office. Major responsibilities include:

Finance:

  • Running the Accounting and Bookkeeping process for the Singapore entity
  • Directly manage, control and develop the finance function
  • Responsible for the accuracy, completeness of financial statements
  • Ensure preparation monthly and quarterly management accounts within stipulated internal and external reporting deadlines
  • Ensure timely & accurate production of forecast and budget information
  • Provide support and assist management in executive / commercial decision making
  • Ensure continuous improvement of internal controls and upholds financial integrity
  • Continuous review of financial system / processes and enhancement
  • Ensure optimum utilization of cash
  • Analyzing of client profitability
  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, professional consultants, tax agents, regulatory authorities, etc

Administration:

  • Keep management informed of laws and regulations that might affect running of the operations
  • Human resource administrations – monthly payroll, employment contracts, compensations and benefits reviews
  • Prepare and review clients contracts, third party agreements
  • Timesheets administrations and reviews

Requirements:

  • Professional accounting qualification with a minimum of five years post-graduate experience, preferably in the PR / advertising / consulting industry
  • Mature personality, high level of integrity, drive and result-oriented
  • Detail oriented and highly accurate
  • Strong business sense with cross-cultural management
  • Strong leadership skills and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to resolve conflict
  • Good working English level
