Field Engineer Global Industries Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

Global Industries provides offshore construction, engineering and support services including pipeline construction, platform installation and removal, and diving services to the oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, Asia Pacific, Middle East/India, South America, and Mexico’s Bay of Campeche. Global is a leading provider of offshore construction services with 24 construction barges, 22 liftboats, 17 dive support vessels, and 15 marine support vessels.

Field Engineer

Monitor implementation and adequacy of the construction/ installation procedures established for project
Receipt of all the technical documentation on site
File, reproduce and distribute all technical documents required for performance of the work
Update and revise drawings according to amendments and modifications carried out in field depending on project complexity
Receive inspection and keep records of all materials from Company
Report non-conformances, monitor segregation of quarantined material and rectify defects and clearance of materials from quarantine
Assure traceability of uniquely identified critical materials while materials are in storage
Monitor and record condition and state of preservation of materials released from storage for processing and/or construction
Coordinate and solve problems that may arise in connection with the revision or updating of field engineering performance of the work
File and distribute all project technical documentation received on the barge and prepare and maintain updated documents of relevant list
Update and revise drawings according to amendments and modifications carried out in the field “as built drafts”
Prepare daily reports, progress reports and any other installation reports such as dimension check reports, pipeline tally sheets, pile driving records etc
