Executive (Open Academy) Civil Service College

Civil Service College (CSC) Singapore is a statutory board under the Public Service Division, Prime Minister’s Office. We are the central learning institution for the Singapore Public Service and we play a pivotal role in partnering government ministries and agencies to develop people for a first class public service.

CSC brings together public service officers from diverse backgrounds and provides them opportunities to plug into a service-wide network to exchange views, build shared ethos and perspectives, creating a rich environment for dialogue, knowledge sharing and learning.

Through our programmes and services, CSC aims to build commitment and strategic capacity in governance, leadership, public administration and management for the Singapore Public Service.

Executive (Open Academy)

You will administer and maintain virtual campuses (Learning Management System) for Open Academy (OA) main and sub-domains, as well as support OA and OA-hosted websites. You will also be required to provide helpdesk technical support to online learners in all domains and technical assistance (to trainers and participants) for classroom segment of all blended courses. You will need to assist in the deployment of e-learning programmes and systems to ministries and statutory boards (including reports generation, basic report analysis and printing of certificates) as well as to deliver demonstrations at briefings and training sessions for learners. In addition, you will work independently with vendors/partners in the maintenance of the hardware, software and the database of users, as well as to experiment with new technologies/software for the team/College to leverage on.

You should have:

Basic understanding of Routers, Hubs and switches, Windows XP or higher, Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
Good communication, marketing and presentation skills
Good organisation skills and a meticulous nature
Candidates who are IT savvy and possess prior experience with e-learning will have an advantage
Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Studies or IT with at least 2 years of working experience
