Walt Disney Television International (Southeast Asia) is a fast growing regional television network and is seeking a self-driven individual who is highly motivated and committed to join us in the following role.

Executive, Brand & Consumer Marketing (Disney Channel)

This role is responsible for the coordination and support of Disney Channel’s consumer marketing activities; and promotion and maintenance of the business’ digital media initiatives (channels’ websites and mobile services). This position reports to the Manager, Brand and Consumer Marketing (Disney Channel).

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Disney Channel’s consumer marketing and viewership activities in markets, specific responsibilities include:
    o Liaising with external agencies – media houses, creative, events – to execute marketing activities
    o Internal coordination with programming and production departments on monthly work orders for on-air and off-air video/audio materials. Inclusive coordinating traffic of incoming and outgoing materials
    o Tracking of consumer marketing spends for budgetary analysis and reporting
  • Coordinate Disney Channel’s franchise marketing activities in markets
  • Manage Disney Channel and Playhouse Disney websites as well as Disney Channel Mobile Xtra service, which includes:
    o Oversee the through-the-line production of the websites and wap site (Disney Channel portion) and prepare monthly sitemaps
    o Determine the monthly program and promo priorities with programming and marketing teams, including video requirements
    o Prepare monthly briefs and assets
    o Plan and execute promotion plans and service upgrades for the websites; for the Disney Mobile Xtra, you will liaise internally with Disney Interactive Media Group (DIMG) and externally with Starhub to coordinate the monthly promotable and specific promotional plans for the service
    o Monitor the website/mobile traffic and provide performance measurement of contests/promotions from raw data
  • Any other projects that might be assigned periodically

Requirements:

  • A Degree/Diploma, preferably in business management, or marketing communication
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in similar capacity with MNCs, and a good knowledge of administration related services
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Highly self-motivated, initiative and able to adapt to different environment and situation
  • Excellent knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft office skills
