eMail Execution Lead Octopus Travel

Octopustravel.com is an innovative on-line travel company with offices worldwide offering discounted hotels in 121 countries, apartments, sightseeing tours, our own travel guides and other travel related services.

Our Singapore office, based at the Clifford Centre is seeking an eMail Execution Lead to join our Marketing Team.

The role will primarily focus on centralising all eMail marketing activities on a global basis. At present there are local approaches in place that are supported by a variety of tools and databases. The eMail Execution Lead will work to centralise this and ensure best practice in driving revenue from effective eMail communications is in place and followed. The role will also enable Market Managers to focus on the development and delivery of promotions as opposed to being tied up with the operational execution.

eMail Execution Lead

Other responsibilities will include:

Design and implementation of eMail campaigns in excess of one each week
Liaison with Market Managers to ensure that campaigns are pushed or that market driven campaigns are supported
Analysis of eMail campaign effectiveness with best practice shared across the Marketing organisation
Personal ownership of the relationship with the eMail marketing agency

Desirable qualifications and experience:

Educated to at least degree level, preferably in a business-related discipline
Analytically strong
Experience of direct marketing campaigns
Experience of working across international boundaries
On line retail experience a bonus

Additional skills and knowledge requirements include:

Ability to handle ambiguity
Creative thinker
Pro-active outlook, with a strong ‘can do’ attitude
Outstanding communicator both oral and written
The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across a culturally diverse business
