Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Design, implement and integrate GSM/GPRS/EDGE/3G based chipset and peripherals onto wireless product to meet cost and quality goals
Create schematic and work closely with PCB designer on PCB design
Assemble and troubleshoot prototype boards and carry out engineering verification test
Validate, debug and perform failure analysis on prototypes
Support proto builds until mass production
Involve in certification, reliability and field testing support
Perform RF and baseband characterization of wireless products
Document test reports, user and service manuals and generate BOM for proto build
Evaluate alternate sources for cost reduction initiatives
Conduct training to customer

Skills & Qualifications

Good Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
More than 2 years experiences in hardware or RF embedded product development
Knowledge of GSM, EDGE, ECDMA, HSPA technology is essential
A team player with the ability to work independently at times
Excellent interpersonal skills with good communication skills
Able to travel at short notice
Senior positions available for those with at least 5 years of relevant experience
