EHS Assistant Manager / Senior EHS Officer

Requirements

• Degree and/or minimum Diploma holder in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in environmental/chemical related industries.

As a company’s Environment, Health and Safety Management Representative, your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and developing the company’s Environmental Management System (ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Management System)
• Monitoring all regulations concerning environment, health and safety affairs including air emissions, waste treatment processes and worker’s occupational health and safety.
• Maintaining and developing policies and procedures necessary to comply with corporate guidelines as well as governmental environment, health and safety legislations and regulation deviations in areas of legal compliance.
• Liasing between the company and any outside organisations such as headquarters, customers and government bodies for the community or professional services as and when required.
• Developing and establishing appropriate EHS programmes; as well as promoting effective communication, education and training.

Details
