EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIST, MATHEMATICS

Job Responsibilities

You will be involved in the full spectrum of content development of IT-based educational courseware. This will include:

Liaising with a team of contract writers, translators and editors on pedagogical related activities in developing content materials and translating them to final IT-based courseware.
Research and design pedagogically effective IT-based courseware for teaching and learning by using different learning methods.
Analyse requirements and formulate suitable pedagogical design solutions for different product ranges.
Develop additional materials such as Worksheets, Teachers’ and Parents’ Guides, Teaching Plan, Sales Training Kit etc. for Maths products.
Advise the Sales & Marketing team on pedagogy areas in developing suitable presentation and marketing materials.
Prepare/ vet worked solutions for e-assessment.

Job Requirements

Degree in Mathematics or related discipline. Those with Diploma/ Certificate in Education will have an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in schools or private institutions and is familiar with Singapore’s educational requirements and trends.
Prior experience in developing products for educational markets will have an added advantage.
Familiar with question setting and content storyboarding.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Innovative, creative and has good planning skills.
A team player who is able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
