Director of Product and Sales support – APAC

TANDBERG is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Product and Sales Support for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. We are looking for an experienced professional adding value to the management team and contribute to the continued growth of TANDBERG You will support our organization, partners and customers in the APAC theatre reporting to the APAC President.

You will be part of a highly skilled team in a dynamic, international work environment. You will become a commercial and product expert on TANDBERG solutions and will have a wide range of tasks that include following:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all technical presales activities in the territory on a strategic level (including pricing and product positioning)
  • Work with the President to define and plan strategies for the Sales Engineering team
  • Align and coordinate strategies with Product Management and peers in other territories (as well as R&D, sales and marketing)
  • Engage with selected strategic alliances in region and personally provide technical pre-sales leadership on selected major accounts ensuring optimal deployment
  • Develop and manage an NDA strategy and program for selected major accounts and partners
  • Human resources management and develop pre sales team including competence and personal development
  • Drive the presales competence to stay updated by promoting and defining demonstration facilities and educational tools
  • Drive specific product revenues in territory as well as taking management responsibility for the overall revenue targets
  • Deliver press, analyst, partner and customer briefings

Experience/qualifications:

  • Solid track record supporting advanced technology solutions
  • Broad IT/telecommunications knowledge
  • Minimum of 7 years management and supervisory experience of a sales support organization
  • Strong commercial and general business understanding
  • Previous P&L responsibility preferred
  • Videoconferencing background preferred
  • Excellent communicator with oral and written skills
  • Team player
  • High degree of integrity
  • Able to establish relations with executive people in partners and customers
  • Ability to work quickly and calmly in a fast-paced environment with conflicting demands
  • Business travel will be required.
