Octopustravel.com is an innovative on-line travel company with offices worldwide offering discounted hotels in 121 countries, apartments, sightseeing tours, our own travel guides and other travel related services.

Our Singapore office, based at the Clifford Centre is seeking a Creative Designer to join our Marketing Team.

As Creative Designer you will primarily be responsible for focusing on web design and update of OctopusTravel direct, affiliate sites as well as related banners and e-mailers globally.

Other responsibilities will include:

• The design and update of newsletter templates for OctopusTravel
• The design and update of landing pages
• The creation of banners, print advertisements and brochures

Being the ideal candidate you will possess:

• Experience of web design, basic scripting (PHP, ASP, MYSQL, Javascript, Action Script) and basic database programming
• Knowledge of content management systems such as Joomla/Momba would be an advantage

Additional skills and knowledge requirements include:

• Proficiency in Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, Macromedia, Dreamweaver and Flash (including Flash programming), CSS design
• Possess sound and creative flair in designing
• Ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects at one time and to ensure that deadlines are met and to scope
• The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across a culturally diverse business
