Costing Engineer

Reporting to the Engineering Manager in Asia, you will work closely with the engineering team and customers to provide costings for the various project components, such as material, labor, construction equipment and indirect cost. You will also monitor and audit the cost and contracts during the construction, and take necessary corrective measures to ensure that cost is kept within the budget.

In addition, you will be responsible for surveying the construction process and negotiating with the suppliers and contractors, to ensure the ongoing construction is in line with design requirements. For acquisition projects, you will carry out asset valuation for the documentation of equipment and value. At the same time, you will assess and monitor project risks, and take proactive steps to reduce these risks.

To be successful, you must possess

Degree in Mechanical Engineering
4-5 years working experience in engineering and/or operations. Those with more years of experience will be considered for senior position.
Excellent communication skills in English
Analytical and good decision- making skills
Good team player who is able to work effectively across different cultural.
Possess hands-on experience using CAD and MS Project software.
