Cost Engineer J RAY MCDERMOTT ASIA PACIFIC PTE LTD

We are a leading worldwide marine solutions company servicing the oil and gas industry. Due to expansion, we are looking for an experienced and qualified individual to join us as :

Cost Engineer

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all necessary site based Cost Control deliverables are being prepared correctly as required by the contract and internal requirements
Preparation of weekly and monthly inputs for project cost reports
Monitor and maintain control of all fabrication and yard cost, man hours and overall quantities for all functions and activities at the job site
Provide timely fabrication & marine information required for external and internal cost reporting
Assists in the preparation of the final project close-out report
Provide input into the PROM and contingency management
Report to Senior Cost Engineer

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project cost control, forecasting, commercial management of engineering, procurement and construction works
Experience in using computer based project controls software
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Good team player, self driven and good in number
Strong communication skill and interpersonal skill
To be based in Batam
This is a 1 year contract position
