Contact / Call Center IT Technical Support

Pre-requisite:

  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree, preferably with Engineering or Information Technology stream
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills is a must
  • Candidates should Innovative, resourceful and with Strong analytical skills
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision

Requirement #1 : Contact / Call Centre – IT Technical Support Engineer
Position Type : 6 months – extendable / Permanent
Experience : Min 3+ years of experience on the below skills
Start date : 1 week

Our end client a leading local bank in Singapore, is looking for suitable candidates for the position of Contact / Call Centre IT Support Engineer on the below mentioned technical skills to be based in Singapore

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • At least 3 years Info-comm. experience of which at least 2 years supporting contact / call centre and telecommunication technologies
  • Certification in contact / call centre products and solutions will be advantageous e.g. Avaya / Nortel / Aspect
  • Degree or Diploma in IT / Computer Science
  • Good communication skills, with strong email & oral communication

Job Description:

  • Support contact centre systems and applications to provide 24×7 business-as-usual (BAU) operational services to multiple consumer and business divisions
  • Primary systems and applications include IVR, CTI and SMS
  • Secondary systems and applications include PBX, call reporting and voice recording
  • Integration of primary systems with backend hosts (AS400, encryption modules, etc.)
  • Conduct routine operational and administration activities on the systems and applications in Production, Testing and Development environments
  • Perform and manage preventive maintenance activities
  • Manage and coordinate vendors in provision of maintenance service
  • Manage and troubleshoot issues with systems and applications
  • Ensure systems, applications and associated activities adhere to process and audit requirements
  • Produce monthly service management reports to end users
  • Attend weekly and monthly team and service management meetings for cross-sharing of information
  • Support call centre implementation projects where needed

Requirement #2 : IT Technical Support Technical Engineer
Position Type : 6 – 12 months – Extendable
Experience : Min 2+ years of experience on the below skills
Start Date : Immediate / 1 week

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Internet connectivity – Design and set up of firewall systems, and DNS servers
  • Installation of software and operating systems
  • General networking – LAN & WAN: set up inter-office T1, and Internet T1/ISDN connectivity
  • Managing the production web servers
  • Configuring CISCO routers & software
  • Setting up systems and troubleshooting experience is a must
