Chief Operating Officer

This individual will develop, initiate and manage the delivery and execution of an operations plan which includes elevating content, increasing membership satisfaction and retention, effectively utilizing chapter business management plans and implementation of the brand strategy. Provide leadership to the operations within the guidelines. The future teams will consist of teams in Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore, with expansion to other countries in Asia and Europe.

The ideal candidate is a proven, personally accountable team-leader with a track-record for executing operational plans remarkably well. He/she will focus on operational performance. A minimum of ten years of executive management, supervisory experience and operational management experience a must. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Hospital Management or related discipline required.

The Person:

You are a trouble shooter
Regular overseas travel, based in Bangkok or Singapore
Minimum of 10 years working experience in a similar position
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment within a new and rapidly developing market and company
Fluent in English, including reading and writing. Either a native speaker or at least 5 years of overseas experience;
Good interpersonal, communication, organization and diplomatic skills to deal with regional and international cultural issues;
Ability to work easily and effectively across international borders
Analytically minded with an eye for details and problem solving skills;
Background in travel, insurance or medical industries is preferred.
A plus; cultural experience and proficiency in a 2nd or 3rd language, such as Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian, Arabic, Malaysian, Taiwanese, Russian, German or other European languages.

Location : Singapore or Thailand

Salary : negotiable, depending on experience and capabilities

Job Type : 1 year contract, with the possibility of a full time position being offered.
