A subsidiary of a China focused real estate fund is looking for the position of

Chief Financial Officer

The Job:

To provide overall leadership and direction to all finance departments within the group.
Keep abreast of latest updates in accounting standards and be involved in training the regional finance team on accounting, policies and standards.
To actively participate in the strategic business planning process and provide financial guidance and advice to the management team consistent with the overall financial policy.
To contribute to strategic business planning and development which include tax planning.
Preparation of consolidated accounts for statutory and management reporting purposes under IFRS and Chinese GAAP;
To liaise with auditors, bankers, lawyers, and relevant authorities across the region when necessary
To carry out special projects from time to time as required by the management.
To carry out monthly performance review and analysis:
To perform budgeting and periodic re-forecasting;
Treasury management;
Based in our Dongguan office in China, Guangdong;
Workings closely with shareholders based inter alias New Zealand, United Kingdom and Singapore.
5.5-day work week

The Person:

Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent;
Around 10 years working experience with at least 5 years of consolidation experience;
Good interpersonal, communication, organization skills and diplomatic skills to deal with regional and cultural issues;
Analytical and an eye for details;
Ability to converse, read and write in Chinese. Fluent in Cantonese is a plus.

Salary of S$9,000 to S$10,000.
