Business Support Analyst

Job Description:

As a Business Support Analyst, you will be part of a team that provides the first point of contact for global user queries & change requests relating to our in house IT systems within the Oil & Metals trading divisions. You will also analyse issues & manage their resolution, and perform the role of business analyst on small projects.

Key Responsibilities:

To handle user queries regarding internal systems
To offer advice to users on how to resolve their queries
To perform the role of business analyst for small projects and manage the process through to implementation
To investigate potential system errors, and for complex problems to summarise findings and pass on to the relevant team to investigate further & fix.
To monitor, coordinate, and communicate progress on the resolution of issues.
To provide basic training to global users & to identify recurring training needs / system issues and flag to the relevant team
To manage user access rights

Training Opportunities:

Successful candidate will be sent to our London office for 3-6 months of training with the development team.

Career Development Opportunities:

In this position you will be working closely with the software development teams and commercial departments. The opportunity exists for the right candidate to progress into a full business analyst role or other roles within the company
