BI Developers

POSITION PURPOSE

As an important member of Global Development Team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting Equinix’s data warehousing, ETL and report development.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Work closely with BSA (Business Support Analysts) you will be implementing the reports on Equinix’s data warehouse and business intelligent tools
Show strong technical and analytical skills on problem solving and suggest solutions
Excellent knowledge Data warehouse tools, ETL tools and reporting tools.
Should worked with Informatica, Cognos and Oracle Biz Intelligence Enterprise Edition (Seibel Analytics)
Ability to work with Global teams across the world (in different time zones)
Liaise with different teams to design/develop interfaces to retrieve data from multiple backend applications namely ERP, and other business/operations support systems
Provide operational support and enhancements for existing reports
Handle user requests, issues, bugs and minor enhancements
Ability to work efficiently as a team player or as a self-supervised / managed person

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree or above, Major in Computer Science is preferable
5+ years experience in Software Development which should include 3+ years working experience in data warehouse, ETL (Informatica), data modeling (Star schema, DMR, Cubes), and report writing
Excellent knowledge of Star schema, DMR, Cubes, and other data modeling concepts
Good knowledge of Cognos Framework manager, Cognos Report Studio, Query Studio, Metric Studio, Cognos Administration and Content management and/or Data warehouse Admin Console, Metadata Repository, and Answers and Dashboards
