As part of our expansion plan, we are currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the following positions in Sydney:

Avionics Technicians

Responsibilities:

Under minimum supervision, performs a variety of routine tasks to ensure repair shop quality standards are met
Performs the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components and mechanical assemblies
Repair, modify and calibrate shop test equipment. Ability to fabricate test harness and testers from approved drawings
Demonstrates an understanding of airworthiness requirements
Assist in the training of customer and PAC employees with respect to troubleshooting, repair, modification and testing of IFE system
Establish and maintain proficiency with 90% of LRU’s in two product group and show continuous improvement by meeting training goals
Document failure trend by use of failure reports
Be available for travel as needed to support the customer offsite
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Attributes/Qualifications Required:

Technical certificate in Electronic or equivalent in related field with at least 2 years experience in electronic system repair environment
Ability to read and understand schematics and other technical publications to facilitate troubleshooting, repair and testing of equipment
Excellent soldering techniques
Good oral and written communications skills
