Aviation Systems Engineer

Job Description

Lead, monitor and motivate the maintenance engineers / technicians.
Responsible for the overall planning and managing of Maintenance & Operation functions.
Supervise in inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting of the different system installed in the airport. (e.g. Flight Information Display System and Digital Clock System )
Ensure preventive maintenance work schedules to specified standards and procedures and maintain all relevant written records.
Carry out Fault Finding and Diagnosis of systems breakdowns, both on a mechanical and electrical basis, with a focus on providing high levels of service and response times.
Maintain written records of all breakdowns and repairs allowing for analysis and compliance with ISO standards.
Keep the systems updated in line with the airport’s operation requirement.
Be able to deal with authority in various level for any matters.
Available for stand by duty when schedule to provide maintenance for critical systems.
Improve Team skills by conducting training sessions with the team.
Implement project related activities such as engineering design, documentation, system and control configuration and systems integration testing.
Assist Division Head in preparation of quotations and provide technical support for the mock up and demonstration to the clients.

Job Qualification

Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of working experience Linux OS and MS OS at an administrator or engineer’s level
Thorough Working Knowledge on installation, configuration and troubleshooting of CISCO Network Components, TCP/IP Protocols, Netscreen /Checkpoint Firewall platforms
CCNA or CCNP certified
Must possess Class 3 driving license
Fast learner and can work under pressure
Possess good communication and written skills
Can speak Mandarin language is an advantage
Independent yet able to work as a team
