AutoCAD Administrator

Duties

Duties and services to be provided by the specified seconded staff shall be generally but not limited to all facets of the CAD/GIS, Cartographic Activities, but with particular:

Perform quality control and quality checking to insure accuracy of finished GIS product.
Standardizing AutoCAD elements for infrastructure asset like Layers, Block, Annotations, and Cartographic Elements.
Manage Engineering and As-Built Drawing prepared during various stages of infrastructure projects.
Develop AutoCAD Scripts (LISP) to customize AutoCAD Applications; for quality checking and controls and other CAD tools as required by various projects.
Need to work with technical team in establishing Data Migration procedure for migrating spatial data from AutoCAD Environment to GIS Environment.
Generation of cartographic reach maps.
Installation and configuration of latest version of AutoCAD to server and end-users including add-on utilities.
Able to provide support and training to end-users.
Prepare documents, training materials related to CAD needs.

Qualifications

A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Systems, or related technical discipline. A Master Degree on similar discipline is highly preferable.
Certificate in Oracle and SQL Server Database Administration.
1-2 year experience in the Gulf region is highly advantageous

Experience

Minimum 5 years of continuous experience in Autodesk AutoCAD products and customizing AutoCAD application using LISP.
Possess good knowledge and experience of CAD/GIS, Geographical and Spatial Systems.
Experience in effectively managing CAD files.
