AUDIO VISUAL MANAGER

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide effective and efficient management of Audio Visual Resources and venue within the School.

Job Description:

Line management of 2 AV Technicians
Develop processes and systems to improve the efficiency of AV utilized in the School
To work with the Help Desk/Network Manager to ensure AV related to Help Desk calls are handled in an efficient and effective manner.
Provide guidance and training to the AV Technicians.
Work with the Director of EBT (Educational Business Technology) to develop the annual AV budget.
Provide multi-media services for the school community including concerts, sports events and theatre productions.
Maintain and operate the on-line booking system/calendar for multi-media requirements.
Provide multi-media recording, copying and editing services including conversion between analogue and digital technologies.
Provide video and digital photography services including editing and image processing.
Create presentations/animations using Flash and PowerPoint and handle data in a variety of formats including PDF, SWF. PSD and HTML.
Ability to develop new skills in a variety of multimedia-based software packages/hardware solutions.
Ensure that all multi-media hardware is maintained in good working order and keep an annual maintenance schedule and servicing records.
Ensure that records of all multi-media hardware are kept up-to date and stock checks are carried out on a regular basis.
Process invoices relating to multi-media resources and prepare reports e.g. financial, stock check as required by the Director of EBT.
Evaluate new products and advise EBT department on multi-media developments and acquisitions.

Requirements:

Degree in relevant discipline, preferably in Audio Visual discipline or its equivalent
Relevant Audio Visual Management experience in an educational industry
Skills in pre and post production of audio and video materials
Excellence in written and spoken English
Possess excellent staff management and time management skill
Able to think on their feet and adapt as a situation presents itself
Ability to work with all levels of staff including CEO level
Singaporean or Singapore PR only
