ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT (RISK MANAGEMENT)

Job Scope:

Reporting to the Group Senior Vice President, Legal & Risk and accountable to the Audit & Risk Committee, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of enterprise risk management for the Group. This includes risk identification and assessment, business continuity planning, risk evaluation of complaints and potential cases of medical malpractice, group insurance and risk management training and advisory. You will promote and cultivate an active and positive culture of risk management within the Group, which is aligned with the business goals.

You will play a critical role in providing leadership to the team in the planning, development and coordination of risk management services across the organization. You will be required to work closely with business units and senior management and assist with implementation of Group-wide operational risk management across a wide range of businesses.

Requirements

You must have a degree from a recognized University with at least 10 years experience in enterprise risk management work preferably in the healthcare industry. You should also possess a strong commercial acumen, industry knowledge and be meticulous, organized and have a collaborative approach to problem solving. You must have strong leadership and people skills and be a hands-on team player. Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills are essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
