Miclyn Express Offshore is a leading offshore marine support services provider. Due to expansion, we have immediate openings for the following positions at BATAM. Candidates MUST be prepared to be based at Batam, returning home only on weekends. Those with 2 years or more of shipbuilding experience may apply.

Assistant Safety Superintendent (BATAM)

Requirements:

To co-ordinate daily safety matters in the Shipyard.
Monitoring of lifting equipment and lifting appliance monthly.
Conduct a fire and rescue drill and exercise for Project.
Repair Ship Inspection for Hot Work Locations.
Assist in conducting Safety Training such as Fire Watchman Course / Respiratory Protection Program.
Approve permit to work for all hazardous work process.
Respond to emergency and event of outbreak of fire.
Lead the Project Team to carry out the HSE inspection and enforcement at worksite.
Inspection of high pressure equipment such as pressure vessel/ blasting pot/ air compressor and blasting equipment.
