Assistant Product Manager

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for:

Project Management for the product groups Mining, Signal Lighting and a beacon for defined OE target groups
Develop assortment strategies by identifying (local) market demands and trends, and define existing or suggest new products to close strategic gaps in the product portfolio, guiding the product from the initial idea phase through the technical development or alteration, up to the successful launch of the product.
Planning of regional strategies/budget planning related to the above mentioned product groups for defined OE target groups.
Continuous controlling of business success and initiating of measures to close gaps to the budget in order to secure the budget / business plan.
Pricing control on non Key Account customers
Manage support of enquiries with recommendations and follow through with appropriate actions
Establish a reliable and professional technical support and assist in technical evaluations and management of claims

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
2 to 3 years of relevant working experience
Experience in managing projects
Ability to think strategically and analyze processes for effectiveness and compliance
Understanding of automotive electronics and electrical systems, as well as a fundamental understanding of vehicle technology in general
